Six people were injured in a shooting early Tuesday morning in Raleigh, police said. 

At 12:42 a.m., Memphis Police officers were informed that six gunshot wound victims had arrived at area hospitals in critical condition. 

According to an update shared by MPD officials on Tuesday morning, two of the victims have since been listed in non-critical condition.

[WREG reported](https://wreg.com/news/local/sources-multiple-shooting-victims-at-memphis-hospital/) that two of the victims—including one who remains in critical condition—are teenagers or children. Their ages have not been provided by police. 

During a preliminary investigation, police determined the victims may have been shot by suspects in a black SUV near New Covington Pike and Austin Peay Highway. 

Three of the victims were allegedly "in possession of a stolen vehicle" and are in police custody, officials said. 

No arrests have been made and no additional suspect information has been provided.

An investigation is ongoing.

Six People Shot in Raleigh

A 911 caller has reported an unconfirmed incident at Sycamore View Rd & Raleigh Lagrange Rd.

Police have received a 911 report of shots fired in the area from a vehicle.

The suspect is reported to be occupying a white SUV and firing shots.

Police on the scene advised that the vehicle was last seen fleeing northbound on Sycamoreview road.

An additional 911 report states that the shots fired were between two vehicles, and not at the officers.

Police advise that six people were injured in the shooting and have arrived at an area hospital.

Officers have requested specialized units for the collection of photos and evidence regarding the shooting.

Upon investigation, it has been determined that eight people have been shot.

It is still unclear if all the victims were injured in the shooting that occurred at Sycamore View Rd & Raleigh Lagrange Rd. Officers are investigating further.

Officers are looking for the suspect in the older model black Jeep Grand Cherokee with silver-and-gray rims who was seen chasing victims near  Methodist North Hospital.

According to the latest report from officers, the driver's side of the suspect vehicle has a gray-and-silver trim and it was last seen near 3960 New Covington Pike.

The address reported for this incident has changed to Austin Peay Hwy & New Covington Pike.

In an update, police said six people were injured in the shooting. Four of the victims are reportedly in critical condition.
