A van plunged into a sinkhole in Morris Park Monday night after a sewer collapsed, reports say. 

Citizen user videos first captured police and firefighters at the scene near 1604 Radcliff Avenue at 9:18 p.m.

A sewer reportedly had collapsed, bringing a section of the above pavement down with it. 

The Department of Environmental Protection said the collapse and resultant sinkhole is not believed to be related to the heavy rain that flooded streets in the area, [local news reports](https://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/news/2022/07/19/giant-sinkhole-swallows-up-van-in-the-bronx) said.

A van fell into the sinkhole. Several hours later, Citizen user videos showed crews hoisting it back to street level. 

No injuries were reported, but water was shut off in the area as crews responded and repaired the damage.
