According to an official report from the New York City Police Department, police responded to a 911 call of shots fired in front of 1801 Archer St. Upon arrival, officers observed a 28-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive, with stab wounds to the torso. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police are releasing the additional units aiding in the investigation back to their regular duty.
