A man was fatally shot in East Flatbush Thursday evening, officials said.

Police responded to a report of a shooting at the corner of Willmohr Street and E. 95th Street just after 7 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 31-year-old man who had been shot multiple times.

Medics responded and took the man to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives are investigating. 

No arrests were reported.

The technology is triggered by loud noises including gunshots, fireworks, and backfiring vehicles.

Police are also responding to an unconfirmed report of a person shot.

Police on scene confirm a man was shot in the torso.

Additional units are being requested to assist with the suspect search.

Police are searching hospitals to see if there are any additional victims.
