Search for Armed Assault Suspect

Police have confirmed there was an assault in transit and are searching for a suspect who fled the scene.

Incident reported at 59 St Station (4) (5) (6).

Police advise the suspect slashed the victim during the assault.

The suspect is described as a 50-year-old Latina woman 5'5'' in height and approximately 150 lbs, last seen wearing an orange backpack, a light-gray hoodie, and a beige jacket.

Firefighters advise the victim did not sustain life-threatening injuries.

Police are releasing the additional units aiding in the search back to their regular duty.
