According to an update from the NYPD, police arrived at the scene of the reported shooting at 1:41 am and discovered an unresponsive man with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS transported the man to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A firearm was recovered at the scene. No arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
