A person was killed after they were pinned under a city bus in Spuyten Duyvil Tuesday evening, officials said.

At around 8:30 p.m., firefighters and EMS responded to a report of a crash at 2500 Johnson Avenue. 

Upon arrival, crews discovered a person trapped beneath the bus and began working to remove them.

According to the FDNY,  firefighters were able to pull the person from underneath. However, medics pronounced the pinned person deceased.



Person Fatally Injured in City Bus Collision

Emergency personnel is responding to a report of a person possibly trapped in a vehicle following a crash.
