Two men were hospitalized after a stabbing in Astoria Wednesday night, officials said.

At around 8:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a stabbing at the corner of 23rd Street and 30th Road.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two men who had been stabbed and requested medics to the scene. Emergency communications indicated the men were listed in critical condition.

EMS transported the men to area hospitals with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. 

According to the NYPD, officers were searching for two suspects who fled on e-scooters from the scene.

Detectives are involved in an ongoing investigation. 

No arrests were reported.

Two Men Critically Injured After Double Stabbing

Officers on the scene have located two men stabbed. They advise they are both in critical condition. No suspect description is available.

Officers on the scene advise they are looking for two male suspects, one with long hair, both of whom fled the scene on electric scooters.

Police have received a report from EMS of a pedestrian struck by a moped. They advise this may be related to the double stabbing.

Officers on the scene advise both suspects fled on an orange electric bike northbound on 23rd Street.

Officers describe one of the suspects as a Latino man wearing an orange hat, blue shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes, who was carrying a green bag.

Officers describe the second suspect as a Latino man wearing a black hat backwards, black sweatshirt, black canvas bag on his back, and black shorts with a white stripe.

Officers advise the two men were transported to area hospitals.
