A 15-year-old boy was killed and a man was injured in a shooting in East Harlem Monday night.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., an officer reported shots fired at the corner of E. 123rd Street and Lexington Avenue and requested an ambulance.

Officers located a 15-year-old boy and a 30-year-old man with gunshot wounds.

The boy had been shot in the torso and was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The man had been shot in the knee and was transported by EMS in stable condition.

No arrests have been made as detectives investigate.

Police requested medics for a person who was shot.

Additional units were requested to assist.

Police also requested a second ambulance.

Officers transmitted that two men were shot and both have non-life-threatening injuries.
