Police are investigating after a man died in a collision Saturday night in Brooklyn.

NYPD officers and FDNY crews responded to a report of a car that collided with scaffolding at West 20th Street and Surf Avenue in Coney Island around 9:30 p.m.

When they arrived, officers found a 25-year-old man in the car with injuries throughout his body.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.

A 23-year-old passenger was not injured in the crash.

According to police, the 2012 Infinity was traveling eastbound on Surf Avenue when it lost control while turning northbound on West 20th Street and struck a building scaffolding.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
