A man was killed in a quadruple shooting in Brownsville, police say.

According to officials, at around 10:41 p.m., Wednesday, police responded to a report of multiple people shot in the back of 181 Hegeman Avenue. 

Officers found four victims with gunshot wounds upon arriving at the scene. 

One victim, a man, had been shot in the chest. 

A second victim, a 44-year-old man, had been shot in the arm.

The third victim, 32-year-old man was shot in the shoulder. 

A 31-year-old man was also shot in the leg. 

EMS arrived at the scene and transported the victims to nearby hospitals, where the first victim was pronounced dead. 

The three other victims were listed in stable condition. 

There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.

The address reported for this incident has changed to Hegeman Ave & Osborn St.

Police have confirmed that a man was shot in the shoulder.

Police have confirmed that a second man was shot in a nearby building.

Police report finding two more men who were shot.

Police report that the injuries of three of the men are not-life threatening. The remaining man is believed to have sustained life-threatening injuries.

Police have requested specialized units to collect evidence.

According to a press release from the NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, the man who sustained life-threatening injuries was pronounced deceased. The other three men are in stable condition.
