Man Fatally Shot

Incident reported at Rogers Av & Winthrop St.

Police are responding to an unconfirmed report of shots fired.

Police are blocking off traffic at Rogers Avenue and Winthrop Street.

Police confirm shots were fired at this location and a person was shot in the upper chest. They are reported to be unresponsive at this time.

Police report the person who was shot in the upper torso and buttock is in critical condition at this time.

An update from the NYPD states that the victim was pronounced deceased at an area hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
