According to the 911 caller, a woman on a motorcycle is reportedly on fire following the collision.

According to an update from FDNY, one patient was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. Officers have blocked off the road at Benson Avenue and Bay 35th Street. This investigation is ongoing.

THURSDAY, 11:24 AM: Police and firefighters responded to a report of a fire following a motorcycle collision near 68 Bay 35 Street. When they arrived, officers found a 27-year-old woman with severe injuries from the crash. EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the woman deceased. According to police, the woman was traveling north on Bay 35 St when she struck a truck that was double-parked in the street. The crash caused the motorcycle to catch fire. The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is involved in the ongoing investigation.
