Multiple People Struck by Train

Incident reported at E 15th St & Kings Hwy.

Police are responding to a 911 caller's report of a group of teenagers on the tracks.

The address reported for this incident has changed to East 16th Street & Avenue S.

Police have confirmed that three people were struck by a train and one has been pronounced deceased at the scene.

Power is off to the tracks and no service is going between Kings Hwy Station & Ave U station.

EMTs and firefighters are still working to ascertain the exact number of injured people.

An update from medics at the scene confirm that at this time they are treating three people who were struck by the train. Two are being treated with serious but not life-threatening injuries and one was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Medics on scene report an emergency responder is being treated for an unspecified injury.
